Born in Bologna in 1984, Luca studied finance in Milan and began his professional career in investment banking, but after a few years he started his own sideline project. In 2014 Luca founded Masel, with the goal of reinventing and enriching one of the most iconic garments of the classic and elegant man’s wardrobe: the tie.
Inspired by his grandfather’s tie patterns from the 70s and 80s and his father’s passion for tailoring, he focused on details, unusual patterns, and craftsmanship in order to create something unique.
Luca is currently expanding the Masel product offering to other artisanal crafts, applying the same principles behind Masel ties to these new developments.
