Amedeo was born in Florence in 1985; he spent his childhood in Milan and London, before settling in Switzerland.
Born into a prominent family that influenced the fashion system in Italy and beyond for more than half a century Amedeo is now proud to run Arfango, a historic Florentine label founded in 1902, which Moretti relaunched with a classic yet dandyish vision.
Passionate about beautiful things and travel, he grew up surrounded by nature – horses in particular. He’s a polo player, cyclist and above all marathon runner. While often away on business trips, for him Tuscany is his true home, and he goes back whenever he can. It’s also home to his family’s vineyard in the heart of Chiantishire, “Tenuta Sette Ponti”, which produces the multi-award-winning red wine ORENO, rated fifth best in the world by Wine Spectator, the American wine bible.
